Methuen Youth Hockey Association is an organization started in 1975 when the high school was built and is dedicated to providing the youth of Methuen a structured hockey development program. There are, depending on enrollment, eleven traveling MYHA teams and two instructional Learn to Skate clinics, with ages ranging from 5 to 17.

The total enrollment in the various programs 2005/2006 exceeds 300.

We in the Methuen Youth Hockey program are particularly fortunate to have the use of the ice skating facility in our own high school. In the high school skating rink we have a refreshment stand where you can volunteer your time in return for credit towards Hockey fees. Board membership is voted upon annually. Board meetings are held monthly during the Hockey season and are open to the public.
