Learn to Skate Begins on Saturday, October 18 2008 and runs every Saturday morning through the middle of April 2009 Learn to Skate Sign Up Sign-ups will be held at the ice rink at Methuen High School on Saturday October 4 and Saturday October 13 from 9:00AM – 12:00PM. You can also register at the rink prior to the start of the clinic or download and complete the registration form and mail it with payment to MYHA P.O Box 431 Methuen MA 01844. There will be offered in two one-hour session: • First hour = 9:30 to 10:30 – this is for beginning skaters and teaches children the proper way to skate • Second hour = 10:40 to 11:40 – this is for the more advanced skater (at least one year experience) and will prepare children to play hockey. Requirements • Helmet with cage or shield, shin pads or knee pads, elbow pads, hockey gloves or thick gloves • Clinic is open to any skater who is not currently on the roster of any MYHA team • 2008/2009 USA Hockey registration. We have links to USAH registration on our website – www.myha.com – print our your proof of registration and bring it to the rink to give to the registrar. There is a $35 registration fee for skaters age 7 and older. Parents with skates and helmets may participate on-ice with their children for the first two weeks.
